Original works issued as limited editions from Robert Poulton’s studio.

Printing has long been an essential part of my creative practice — from silkscreen and letterpress to offset and digital techniques. I’m drawn to the permanence of print and its ability to carry ideas forward across time.

Each edition is produced in small numbers with careful attention to craft and material. On occasion, a portion of proceeds supports causes that matter deeply to me, extending the work’s reach beyond the print itself.

Artist Norman Lewis once wrote, “…the goal of the artist must be aesthetic development and, in a universal sense, to make in his or her own way some contribution to culture.” These prints are created in that spirit — as lasting objects meant to be lived with and returned to.

Young Girl Seeing by Robert Poulton, an archival giclée print selected for the Massachusetts College of Art and Design 2026 auction, symbolizing imagination, renewal, and the power of youth.

Young Girl Seeing is a meditation on vision, hope, and possibility. A young girl looks upward through binoculars toward symbols of the heart, globe, and star—markers of curiosity, connection, and aspiration. The image invites reflection on how young people imagine the world ahead, and how belief, empathy, and imagination shape what comes next.

This work is a high-quality archival giclée print, produced in a limited edition of five. Each print measures 14 × 18 inches and is printed on archival paper to ensure long-term color fidelity and durability. Print number 1 of 10 will be auctioned at the 2026 MassArt Auction in April, with proceeds benefiting MassArt students.

Prints 2-10 will be released following the auction on April 11th.
